Big Village Program
Natural disasters and civil conflicts often meet on stage most of the aforesaid odd elements (most of them offspring of injustices/inequalities) – Zero to poor basic infrastructures including drinkable water points, electricity and roads, climate change, etc, causing even more suffering to the vulnerable population. Deviin’s Big Village Program was conceived to bring integrated relief & reconstruction support to affected deep rural village communities – meet their basic human needs: securing a sustainable clean drinkable water source, access to food (and promoting sustainable agriculture and nutrition), decent shelter, electricity, basic health care, protection and empowerment through income-generating activities.
Currently, in the context of the armed violence and resulting humanitarian crisis in the NWSW regions of Cameroon, the program covers 3 key areas:
Feed a family
Child Protection (and SGBV)
Health and nutrition
