Gender-based violence (GBV) is a serious global problem, but preventable. It affects people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds, with women and girls overly represented among the survivors. GBV is any act of violence that is directed against a person because of their gender, and it can include physical, sexual, emotional, and economic violence. We all have a role to play in preventing and addressing GBV. We can start by educating ourselves and others about the issue, and by speaking out against GBV whenever we see it. In this light Deviin carried out an outreach in Kompina to support the fight Against Gender Based Violence.

Together, we can create a world where everyone is safe from GBV.
